lost
I was out there and surrounded by horizon. My well traveled feet sought seat yet I wondered and pondered until...and then you'd appear again. Brown eyed and so deep, you're fathomless. I'm lost inside you, lost without you, and perhaps just lost, but not with you, you're my north star. My beautiful guiding light piercing daytime like it's midnight. Please take me home. I've had enough of the current, the torrents, seemingly hellbent on teasing me with your presence, your scent. I knew I could never let go from the moment I first held you. I'll never lose you again.

found
We found each other; in malls, around lakes, at house parties, among friends, along roads and east coast to west coast...we'd connect, we'd wade, we'd differ, we'd stay the same. I never knew what to expect except the radiance of your warmth. Then we touched, and you made my cold world combust. Engulfed, the cartographer's work went up in flames too. We found each other, I will never lose you again.
